Process

When you contact Studio LBK you will begin the exciting process that will bring your vision into a reality. Making you look good will be the focus of our efforts from the very beginning. Making you look good requires a lot more than just some pretty graphics on a screen or piece of paper. It takes Planning, Action, Forethought, Execution and Follow-Through. These are the five steps that every project we handle is put through.

Planning

Our planning phase actually begins before you even contact us. We know that you have put energy and thought into your project before you’ve even contacted us; even if that means you don’t have anything to show us. We receive those plans with open arms and begin the intricate dance that is our initial planning phase for your project.

As soon as we have all of the information from you that we need, we begin to evaluate your project, and prepare the elements that are required for your project to be a success. We will collaborate with our network of vendors and contractors to ensure that no assumption is made and no details are forgotten. Our planning phase may consist of one or several conferences with you before we move into our action phase.

Action

After all elements of the planning phase have been put together and evaluated, your project will move into our action phase. As the name implies, this is where we put the ideas and plans into action. You will begin to see the moving parts of your website or application; we will begin drawing up rough drafts of your design, etc.

The action phase requires, in most cases, large amounts of behind-the-scenes work, with much collaboration between Studio LBK and its vendors or contractors on the project. There may be large amounts of what may seem like down-time to you as we are working hard to put your plan into motion. After we have put together the working pieces of your project, we will move it into our forethought phase.

Forethought

Forethought is required for any web design or graphic design project to be a success. When your project is in the forethought phase of development, we are placing stringent quality assurance tests to ensure that all possible user-experience scenarios have been thought of and tested to ensure the best usability of your project.

On both web design and graphic design projects, the end user-experience must be at the top of the priority list to maximize the effectiveness of the piece. A web site that your customer doesn’t like using isn’t worth having, and a brochure that your prospect simply throws away without reading also isn’t worth having. Forethought is a required component of our process that ensures you will be happy with the final product, guaranteed.

Execution

After planning, building, and testing your project, it is time to implement it. Execution is, on the backend, a highly complex transition from testing your site to launching it to a live audience, and on the frontend, a seamless transition for you and your customers.

If you currently have a website, and have us build a new one for you, taking the new site live will seem as simple as flipping on a light. You will not have to worry about down-time while making the transition. If you don’t have a website now, when yours goes live, it will be effortless and stress-free. Our execution strategy ensures that the end user will be happy with the live experience of your site, which in turn, means more revenue for you.

Follow-Through

Anyone who has thrown a baseball, hit a golf ball, kicked a soccer ball, shot a free throw, or punted a football has an idea of the importance of follow through. Without proper follow-through, you aren’t able to maximize your success.

After we bring your site live, or we send out the direct mail piece, we will help you analyze the results of the project. This, in our opinion, is the most important thing that determines whether we did our job right or not. Even if you love us as people, if we don’t deliver results, you’ve wasted your money, and we don’t like to waste people’s money. By analyzing the results, we can make the necessary changes to your project to fine-tune its effectiveness with your target audience.
